Dream Riders of Kentucky
Dream Riders of Kentucky is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing therapeutic and recreational horseback riding for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. We are dedicated to providing this service free of charge as we strongly believe in its benefits. Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. is a “circle of hearts.” It’s the give and take
between four components: the riders, the horses, the volunteers and the community. Without any one of these components, the circle is incomplete. Aside from the true therapeutic benefits that the riders gain, the volunteers, the
horses and the community are rewarded by being a part of this noteworthy program. Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. P.O. Box 172 Philpot, KY 42366 Executive Director, Danielle Mathew, 270-883-1418 firstname.lastname@example.org
Team Karlie's mission is to provide people with physical disabilities the use of a special jogging stroller so they can participate in the sport of running. Team Karlie wants others who can't walk or run to experience the energy and excitement of racing. Those with physical disabilities often feel frustrated by their limited mobility and the sport of running is something they would not be able to experience without the use of the special jogging strollers. Also the runners who push the strollers also experience a joy they won't soon forget. If you have ever seen the famous father and son duo, Team Hoyt, race then you have seen our inspiration. We now have 10 riders who enjoy racing!! Find out more about us on our website and our facebook page. We race about 7- 10 races a year so come join us or cheer us on!
